Hummus with beetroot

Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 cooked beetroot
- 3 teaspoons of tahini paste
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 clove of garlic
- juice of half a lemon
- a handful of fresh cilantro (optional)
- salt and pepper
Steps
- Cook the beetroot or use precooked beetroot from the store
- Drain the chickpeas and put them in a blender
- Then add the beetroot, garlic, ground cumin, oil, tahini, water, coriander and the juice of half a lemon
- Mix the contents well until the hummus is smooth
- If the mixture is too thick, add water or olive oil
- Add salt and pepper
- You can serve the hummus with bread, olive oil and seeds
